Volunteer – Métis Director and Inuit Director Positions

With humility and care, we share an important next step in CCPA’s ongoing commitment to meaningful Indigenous representation within our governance.

CCPA is inviting expressions of interest for two newly identified Board positions:
Métis Director and Inuit Director.

These roles were created to ensure that Métis and Inuit perspectives are distinctly and respectfully represented at the Board table. This step reflects a commitment to recognizing the unique histories, legal identities, cultures, and governance traditions of First Nations, Métis, and Inuit Peoples.

We recognize that stepping into governance spaces can be significant. It is not simply a professional role, it is relational. It involves carrying lived experience, community connection, and perspective in spaces that shape long-term direction.

CCPA is inviting applications until March 6th, 2026. The term would begin in May 2026. Board members participate in monthly virtual meetings and two in-person meetings annually (one held in conjunction with the annual conference and one in Ottawa). You can apply by filling out the form below.
