Register for CCPA Models and Modalities of Clinical Supervision – Pilot Learning Module

This new self-directed CCPA offering features readings and activities for learners who are looking for professional development opportunities in the area of clinical supervision. This module is only available in English at the moment.

The pilot module has been pre-approved for 10 CECs by CCPA.

This pilot is only open to professional CCPA members. Those members who have already completed the CCPA-sponsored master’s course in clinical supervision are not eligible to take this module.

The cost is 30$ plus taxes. Register at the link provided below.

The module is based on readings from the following publication, which should be purchased separately prior to the beginning of the module: Shepard, B., Robinson, B., & Martin, L. (Eds.). (2016). Clinical Supervision of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Profession. Ottawa, ON: Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. Chapters 5 and Chapter 6 (pp. 155-161). Additional readings include: Hawkins, P., & Shohet, R. (2012). Supervision in the helping professions (Chapter 7). Berkshire, UK: McGraw Hill Education (to be supplied).

The module will be made available via CCPA’s member portal as of March 1, 2020.

Registrants will have until April 30th to complete all components of the module.

At the conclusion of each section of the module, there are questions based on the readings. The responses to the questions will be posted in the appropriate workspace that registrants will be given access to through the member portal, similar to a discussion forum. All registrants must complete these questions in order to receive credits for the module.

The registration deadline is February 28th at 5 PM.
