{"id":5532,"date":"2013-06-28T15:44:43","date_gmt":"2013-06-28T19:44:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ccpa.scottbuckingham.ca\/blog\/?p=2928"},"modified":"2013-06-28T15:44:43","modified_gmt":"2013-06-28T19:44:43","slug":"respectful-counselling-cube","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ccpa-accp.ca\/fr\/respectful-counselling-cube\/","title":{"rendered":"RESPECTFUL Counselling Cube"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hello readers, in my effort to learn new skills \u00a0and incorporate \u00a0that in my practice, I was recently introduced to something called the RESPECTFUL Counselling Cube.\u00a0 I am still in the process of integrating it in my practice and if anyone has tried it successfully I would be interested in learning more.<\/p>\n<p>The RESPECTFUL counselling framework is a model that introduces a new way of perceiving individuals who are involved in the practice of counseling &#8211; those seeking assistance and practitioners such as counselors and psychologists. This framework involves two basic assumptions. The first involves the belief that the eventual aim of counseling is to enhance and develop the client\u2019s improvement in all aspects. The second involves the recognition of the fact that human development is complex, multidimensional, and unique.
