Mise \u00e0 jour sur le processus de r\u00e9glementation<\/strong> <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Le 1er mars 2024, le gouvernement de l’Alberta a annonc\u00e9 qu’il r\u00e9glementerait les conseillers de l’Alberta sous l’\u00e9gide du College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

L’ACCP soutient le travail de l’Association of Counselling Therapy of Alberta (ACTA) qui s’efforce d’aider le gouvernement provincial et le CPA \u00e0 traverser cette p\u00e9riode de transition. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

L’ACTA a \u00e9t\u00e9 cr\u00e9\u00e9e en vertu d’une loi et devait \u00eatre le pr\u00e9curseur du College of Counselling Therapy of Alberta (CCTA). L’ACTA devait devenir le CCTA une fois proclam\u00e9. En raison de l’annonce r\u00e9cente, les changements qui interviendront au sein de l’ACTA restent \u00e0 d\u00e9terminer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le 11 d\u00e9cembre 2018, le projet de loi 30, The Mental Health Services Protection Act, a \u00e9t\u00e9 adopt\u00e9 \u00e0 l’unanimit\u00e9 par l’Assembl\u00e9e l\u00e9gislative de l’Alberta. Par cons\u00e9quent, les professions de th\u00e9rapeute-conseil, de conseiller de la sant\u00e9 li\u00e9e \u00e0 l’utilisation de substances et de conseiller en soins aux enfants et aux jeunes seront bient\u00f4t officiellement incluses dans la loi sur les professions de la sant\u00e9 (Health Professions Act, HPA). Le gouvernement de l’Alberta n’a pas encore fix\u00e9 de date de proclamation pour l’ACTA.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n
