Tip #24: Take A Break Today With Music.

Listen to one of your favourite songs during your lunch or during a micro break. This is a great tool for clearing your mind between tasks or resetting your mood. Think of one of your favourite songs right now. Whether it is “retro”, classical, folk, pop, rock or rap, music provides a powerful spiritual lift regardless.

Go ahead, cue up your favourite song and have a listen. Better yet, listen to it twice.

Tip #115: Take A Trip Down Memory Lane.

Pull out some old photos, yearbooks, love letters, or other personal mementos. Experience the love, laughter, outfits, hairstyles, holidays and special moments with friends and family all over again. If you really want to get nostalgic, put on some of your old music tracks too and make a party out of it!

Appreciate your past and celebrate your journey to the present.

Tip #103: Remind Yourself How Much You Love To Exercise

Even if this is not necessarily the case right now, whatever you tell your subconscious mind, it will accept as truth.

This is also true for negative messages about exercise. If you say to yourself (and others) that you have a hard time motivating yourself, don’t have time to exercise, or can’t afford it, whatever you say out loud or under your breath, your subconscious accepts as truth.

There is a saying that captures the essence of this message, “Fake it until you make it.” If you really want to improve your exercise habits, remind yourself how much you love it. Tell others how fantastic your body feels after exercising. And if you really want to make a positive message about exercise stick, write down all the things you love about it.

Then, make an exercise date with your body and fulfill the prophecy.
