The Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA) has been offering leadership in the field of counselling since 1965, and has been promoting policies and practices which support the provision of accessible, competent, and accountable counselling services throughout the human lifespan, and in a manner sensitive to the pluralistic nature of society. Advertising in COGNICA

Now you can reach counsellors in Canadian schools, social services, rehabilitation centres, and so forth, by advertising in Cognica.

Cognica is a bilingual newsletter and is published 4 times a year, 8 1/2 " X 11" format. This publication is distributed to approximately 3,300 counsellors in Canada.

If you have a prepared ad (Camera ready), mail it or e-mail it to the CCPA National Office together with the desired advertising details and the completed copy of the advertising contract (i.e. publication, issue(s), page size). We will then run the ad and mail you a copy of the publication with your invoice.

If your ad needs to be set and/or translated, send us the details. These services will be at an additional cost and will be added to the printing charges.

2) Direct Mail-Outs

Although we do not rent or sell our Members' List, we can do Direct Mail-outs (outside of the regular Cognica Mail-out) providing you get the material directly to us and all ready to be mailed (stuffed in envelopes).

Please send a sample to the CCPA National Office for approval. Once approved, fill the contract form that you will find below and send all your material already stuffed in #10 envelopes to the CCPA National Office.

3) List-Serv (E-Mail)

We can also send a "broadcast" e-mail to our members who subscribe to our list-serv for a fee of $110 per announcement (simple text, no attachment permitted).  Please fill the the contract form below and send your message to the CCPA National Office.
