The Alberta/NWT Chapter is a community of diverse professionals, identified as counsellors, who facilitate professional development and support as well the advancement of the profession within Alberta and the Northwest Territories. The objectives of the Chapter are to promote an identity of those in the counselling field; connect with practitioners in the counselling field in Alberta and the NWT, and to develop connections with various counselling-related associations in Alberta. The Chapter also serves as a direct link with the National Association (CCPA), in a reciprocal exchange, toward the achievement of mutually desired aims and objectives.

Regional Update & Case consultation Hour

Get updates on the profession and CCPA initiatives, collect with colleagues to discuss cases you are dealing with, and have the opportunity to bring subjects up with your Provincial Director in order to have your voice heard.

  1. When: First Wednesday of every month
  2. Dates: February 1, March 1, April 5, May 3, June 7, July 5, August 2, September 6, October 4, November 1, and December 6
  3. Time:  6 pm MST
  4. Agenda:
  5. First 5 to 10 minutes. CCPA update, question/answer, provincial issues that need head office feedback.
  6. Case consultation in groups of 3 or 4.
